Introduction

I had my first canoli in Manhattan. I took my first subway ride in Manhattan. I had my first drink in a bar in Manhattan (even though I was only 20). I saw my first Broadway play in Manhattan. I took my first adult airplane flight to Manhattan. 

And I look forward to having my first apartment in Manhattan. Even if it is for a month. ;)

I have rented a lovely 2 bedroom apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn for the month of July. I am looking forward to this small vacation. My mother is coming for visit the first week and then I have friends coming to visit weekly after that. I created this blog so that I can keep a travelogue of what I do and so that my friends at home can follow along. I will also be including ideas of what I would like to do when I get there, lest I forget.
